A group of unsigned rappers compete for the chance to win a US$250,000 prize while impressing established hip hop artists with their music. John Legend created the show with Jeff Pollack, Jeff Gaspin and Jesse Collins.
Trivia
Judges for the show included Cardi B, Chance The Rapper and TI. Netflix released the first four episodes to start. They then released three episodes one week later and the final three episodes two weeks from the premiere date.
