George Estregan

About

Famous during the 1970s and '80s for his Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Award-winning roles in the films Sukdulan, Lumakad Kang Hubad sa Mundong Ibabaw, and Kid Kaliwete, this popular actor went on to appear in such late 1980s movies as Classified Operation and Lala.

Before Fame

He grew up in Manila as the younger sibling of future Philippine President Joseph Estrada (born Jose Ejercito).

Trivia

Sadly, he died of cancer at the age of forty-nine.

Family Life

He married Ramona Pelayo and became the father of actor sons Emilio (Er) and Gary and professional basketball player son Gherome. He also had a daughter named Maria and sons named Kurt and George.

His son Er Ejercito had a career as both an actor and a politician.
