Known by a stage name of "Lay," she became one of three teenage girls to form the R&B group Riplay. They released songs including "Strange," "Hate Me" and "Youngest in the City," and signed with Def Jam Records in 2017.
She and Riplay originated out of Baltimore, Maryland in 2016.
She and Riplay toured schools to educate others about the dangers of bullying and the importance of self-esteem.
She performed alongside her older sister Marshaye Hebron in Riplay.
Lil Key was featured on her group Riplay's single "Strange."
