Journalist and senior political reporter who is known for his coverage of Washington D.C. for the Washington Post including their The Fix division. He is also known for sharing a range of his articles along with the articles of his contemporaries through Twitter where he has over 140,000 followers.
He studied at the University of Minnesota where he graduated summa cum laude in 2005. He then went on to cover and write about politics for the Minneapolis Star Tribune in 2001. He then worked as a Staff Writer for The Hill newspaper from 2006 until 2010. In 2010, he started his career as a political blogger for The Washington Post.
He has appeared as a political commentator and panelist on several different talk shows including MSNBC Live, For the Record, Happening Now, and The War Room with Michael Shure.
He was born and raised in Annandale, Virginia and has a wife named Danielle.
