Brazilian soccer manager and former professional player who has played for clubs like Vasco da Gama, Paris Saint-Germain and Botafogo. He began coaching in 1985 and, after serving dozens of teams, returned to Fluminense, his original club, in 2017. He resigned in 2018.
His career began as a player for the Fluminense Football Club in 1968, where he remained until 1976.
While still playing, he played as a defender.
He and his wife Claudia Braga had two sons, Fábio Farroco and João Pedro Braga.
Muricy Ramalho also served as coach of Fluminense.
