Indonesian photographer whose portrait, nature, wedding, and other photography was met with international acclaim from countless news outlets and photography pioneers including Canon. He was particularly lauded for his one-of-a-kind spirit and talent for capturing images despite having been born with no hands or legs. 

Before Fame

His venture into photography began while he worked as a passport photo photographer. He was inspired to begin capturing images on a greater scope and began dabbling in the artform with a Canon 1100D camera. He acquired the breadth of his early knowledge via YouTube videos and other accessible resources before eventually receiving a scholarship to attend the Darwis Triadi School of Photography in Jakarta, Indonesia.

His work has been featured in photo exhibitions around the world, including solo exhibitions in Surbaya, Indonesia, Brazil, and other international locations.

Family Life

His birth name is Achmad Zulkarnain, however, he commonly went by the name Bang Dzoel. As a child, he was originally abandoned by a river by his parents when they decided that they could not grapple with his disability. In spite of this, he eventually reunited with his birth parents and they went on to share a strong bond. He married his wife Bibah in February 2021 and they welcomed their first child together later that same year.
