Venezuelan freestyle rapper and Red Bull Batalla champion known for competing under the name AdonysX and known for his fast punchlines, emotional delivery, and viral freestyle clips across TikTok and Instagram along with winning the Red Bull Batalla USA National Final in 2024. 

Before fame

He originally dreamed of becoming a professional soccer player before an injury pushed him toward freestyle rap as a teenager. He began freestyling at around 13 years old by battling in schoolyards and plazas and discovering classic Latin American freestyle culture online. He emigrated from Venezuela due to economic hardships and performed and trained in freestyle circuits in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, New York, and Miami before breaking out in 2023 by winning the Red Bull Batalla Miami regional qualifier. He couldn't compete at Nationals that year due to residency restrictions but returned stronger to win the U.S. title in 2024.

Trivia

He was heavily inspired early in his career by Venezuelan rapper Akapellah whose street performance motivated him to take battling seriously. He was featured by Crash Adams on their song "New Heart" in 2025.

Family life

His real name is Adonys Francisco Mata Martínez. He grew up in La Capilla, Isla Margarita, Venezuela in a working-class family.
