Akiko Solon

Actress and singer who finished in 5th place in the 2010 reality competition show Star Power: Sharon Search for the Next Female Superstar. Following the program, she was offered a contract with Star Magic talent agency until 2015. She was nicknamed the "Sweet and Sexy Siren of Cebu." 

Before Fame

She began competing in school talent contests when she was in the 4th grade. Her inaugural television appearance was on the reality competition series Little Big Star, Cebu. The fame and recognition she received as a result of her performance helped her earn a scholarship to the EMD Carmelite School Foundation INC. She released her debut album after graduating from high school. 

Trivia

She earned the title of Josenian Got Talent Grand Champion while attending the University of San Jose-Recoletos. She has starred on numerous television series including the Maalaala Mo Kaya franchise, E-Boy, My Little Juan, Pasión de Amor, and Bridges of Love.

Family Life

Her birth name is Akiko Maria Leslie Villamor Solon. She was born in Lapu-Lapu in the Philippines.
