She was born deaf. She is also an amputee with a prosthetic leg. In 2023, she returned as the character Maya in her own TV series, Echo.

Family Life

She is one of three children born to Bill Cox and Elena Heath. She was raised on the Menominee Indian Reservation in Wisconsin. She is both Menominee and Mohican. On January 28, 2021, she posted a photo of herself holding her baby cousin.
