Meteorologist who joined The Weather Channel in 2013. Prior to that, she worked at FOX Carolina in Greenville, South Carolina and WOWK-TV and WVNS-TV in Huntington, West Virginia. She holds the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation from the American Meteorological Society.

Before Fame

In 2006, she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in broadcast journalism and marketing from Syracuse University. In 2007, she graduated with distinction from Penn State University with a Bachelor's Degree in meteorology. 

Trivia

She has amassed more than 30,000 followers on her twcalexwilson Instagram account. In July 2023, she hosted the Corgi Races at Emerald Downs on ESPN.

Family Life

She adopted dogs named Bandit, Riley, and Henry. She married in 2017. She and her husband had their first anniversary at Wharekauhau Luxury Lodge in New Zealand.

Associated With

In 2023, she made her first trip to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, to cover its annual Groundhog Day. The celebration featured in the Bill Murray film Groundhog Day.
