Figure skater who won the bronze medal at the 2026 Olympics. She previously earned the 2026 Four Continents silver medal, was the 2025-26 Grand Prix Final silver medalist, and took bronze at the 2025 Skate Canada International. She became the sixth woman to successfully land a triple Axel at the Winter Olympic Games.
Before fame
She previously trained in rhythmic gymnastics and started figure skating in 2013 at just five years old. She made her competitive debut at the basic novice level during the 2017-18 Japan Novice Championships, where she placed fourteenth.
