Filmmaker and video content creator whose stunning travel videography has helped him earn more than 1.5 million followers on his ankitbhatiafilms Instagram account and 900,000 subscribers on his AnkitBhatiaFilms YouTube channel. The numerous international locations he has filmed include Singapore, China, South Korea, Maldives, Kenya, and Ethiopia, to name just a few. He has been featured by major news outlets like Forbes India and Outlook India. He has also created educational content on topics like video editing and social media growth for Skillshare.

Before Fame

He was born and raised in the landlocked cultural state of Haryana, India. After completing his college degree in 2012, he relocated to Pune to pursue a career as an engineer. He earned a position and saved up enough money for a DSLR camera, which he initially intended to use for shooting cinematic videos as a lover of cinema. However, after his first trip, to Ladakh, India, he realized that he wanted to become a travel videographer.

Trivia

In the year 2018, he was chosen by YouTube to content in its Next Up Competition. This led his channel to expand by over 100,000 subscribers within the following year. In December 2020, he became the first Indian videographer to be invited directly by Dubai Tourism to film its city.

Family Life

He wished to quit his corporate job after realizing such substantial success in 2019; however, his parents were skeptical of his career goals and did not give him their blessing to do so. Because of this, he continued to work in a fulltime job while also doing YouTube for over a year following, until February 2021.
