She shares her passion for German desserts with an audience of over 550,000 followers on her redcurrantbakery Instagram account in addition to readers on her Red Currant Bakery blog. Before Fame

She obtained a degree in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City. She spent the beginning of her professional career working in fashion design and production before transitioning to baking in 2020 with the launch of her brand. 

Trivia

In 2023, she authored a cookbook called Süss: Sweet German Treats for Every Occasion. A popular video series she shares on social media features Audrey's Breakfast Counter, a monthly breakfast club she is known for hosting, where she prepares and serves meals for her friends.

Family Life

She is of both American and German heritage. She was inspired to launch her brand as a way of paying tribute to her grandmother's baking.
