Before fame

He picked up guitar and started singing at an early age and began posting guitar and singing videos online in 2019. His big break came in 2021 when NBC's The Voice cast him on its 20th season.

He co-wrote Bailey Zimmerman's song "Pain Won't Last" from the 2023 album Religiously The Album. He signed a global publishing deal with Sea Gayle Music in September 2025. His first official single "Ringtone" was released in May 2021 and debuted on the iTunes Top 100 Country Chart.

Family life

He grew up in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, before he became based in Nashville, Tennessee. His father Tony Roberson was a country musician. His grandfather was also a musician and played bluegrass.
