Singer and actress who has released multiple albums and starred in over a dozen movies and TV shows. Her music career started when she represented Turkey in the Eurovision Song Contest, performing with the Modern Folk Trio in Ireland, 1981. She released her first album in 1988, garnering national attention with the single Kara Sevda.
She received her diploma from the Ceramics Department at Marmara University. She then worked as a designer at Yıldız Porcelain Factory for six years while practicing music on the side and singing in casinos.
Her screen debut was in the Şerif Gören adventure film Katırcılar.
Her parents are journalist Orhan Aldinç and art teacher Süheyla Aldinç.
She is close friends with singer Mabel Matiz.
