Kurdish musician and singer-songwriter from Turkey known for his music blending traditional Kurdish sounds with contemporary influences and known for his songs "Ez Nisêbin Tu Qamişlo," "Wayê Wayê," "Çavênte Welatêmine," "Potporî," "Bêhna Bihuşt," and "Nîno."

Before Fame

He started receiving bağlama (a traditional Turkish string instrument) and vocal training at the Dicle Fırat Kültür Merkezi when he was 10 years old. He later joined the children's choir Koma Kulilken Me. He became a member of the Kurdish music group Koma Nujiyan. He eventually embarked on a solo career and released his debut album Rêwiyên Şad in 2016. 

Trivia

He collaborated with the former co-chair of the People's Democratic Party in Turkey, who composed a song titled "Aç Kaldık Özgürlüğe" ("We Are Starving for Freedom") while imprisoned in Edirne Prison. He later performed and recorded this piece as a tribute. He has performed at multiple weddings.
