Due to his performance in the comedy film Comic 8: Casino Kings Part 1, he received a nomination for Best Male Lead Actor during the 2016 Indonesia Box Office Movie Awards. Just one year later, he received another nomination for Best Male Lead Actor during the 2017 Indonesia Box Office Movie Awards thanks to his performance in Comic 8: Casino Kings Part 2.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Medan, Indonesia. He and his wife, Zulfati Indraloka, had two children together.
