She developed a passion for fashion, performance, and alternative art while growing up. She was an active figure in Manchester's drag and nightlife community and performed at clubs, cabarets, and drag events. Her rising popularity led to her being cast in RuPaul's Drag Race UK in 2023 which was her first major television appearance and her big break.

Trivia

She uses She/Her pronouns in drag and They/Them out of drag. She made history as the tallest queen to ever appear on any Drag Race franchise by standing over 7 feet tall in heels. Her stage name "Banksie" is a play on the famous street artist Banksy.

She was born and raised in Wigan, Greater Manchester, England.
