Home renovation content creator, lifestyle influencer, and former van life traveler known for documenting the transformation of an 1894 abandoned hoarder house into her family's forever home after pivoting in 2023 from making van life content which has helped her amass over 1.1 million Instagram followers and over 250,000 TikTok followers.

Before fame

She attended college in Ohio. She moved to South Carolina with Drew Bidlen after graduating from college which is where they began prioritizing travel and flexibility over traditional homeownership. She worked as a travel nurse while Drew worked in software which allowed them to adopt a fully mobile lifestyle. She and Drew lived full-time in a converted van from 2020-2023 traveling throughout the United States and parts of Canada. She began sharing lifestyle and travel content online during this time period and gradually building an audience interested in minimalist living and unconventional housing choices. She and Drew's lifestyle shifted in 2023 when they decided to leave van life and search for a permanent home closer to family. She and Drew purchased an abandoned hoarder house in late 2023 and began documenting the journey of repairing it on social media. She and Drew further rose to widespread attention in 2024 after their renovation journey was featured by Business Insider. 

Trivia

She was named the winner of PEOPLE's Creators of the Year Readers' Choice Award in the category "Home Improvement Inspo" in December 2024.  She has found unexpected items while cleaning out the house such as coins, stamps, jewelry, and crystals which she has compared to archaeology.

Family life

She was born and raised in the United States and met her husband Drew Bidlen while attending college in Ohio where they became college sweethearts. She and Drew welcomed their first child together named Aurora Mercy in 2023.
