Born TaJuan Perry and better known by his alias of "Big Noyd," this New York-based rapper is famous for his work with the hip-hop group Mobb Deep.
He released his first solo album, Episodes of a Hustla, in 1996. His second recording, Only The Strong, followed seven years later.
In 2007, he founded the Noyd Inc. music label.
He was raised in the Queensbridge public housing project in Queens, New York City. He later welcomed a daughter named Tiara Perry.
He collaborated with fellow New York rapper Joell Ortiz.
