Trivia

His stage name, Blak Ryno, was given to him while he was playing football with friends in his youth. The name derives from Blak, like his complexion, and Ryno, for his strength.

His real name is Romaine Anderson.

His friend, a DJ in Waterford, introduced him to Vybz Kartel. He performed for the rapper and not long after became a member of Portmore Empire.
