Serbian musician who is widely known for playing the trumpet as well as leading The Boban Marković Orchestra. He has been recognized as one of the greatest trumpet players to ever emerge from the Balkan region.

Before Fame

He based his musical stylings on the gypsy traditions of his ancestry.

Trivia

In 2000, he and The Boban Marković Orchestra played the World Music Stage at the Sziget Festival in Hungary.

Family Life

His son Marko joined The Boban Marković Orchestra in 2002.

He collaborated with film director Emir Kusturica on the score of Underground.
