Southpaw reliever that was originally drafted as a first round pick in the 2017 MLB Draft by the Chicago Cubs. In 2022, he was named one of the Cubs top 100 MLB prospects. He was later acquired by the Toronto Blue Jays via trade in November of 2023.
Before Fame
As a freshman, he attended the University of North Carolina. The very next year, he then decided to transfer to the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota.

During his rookie season in the majors, he recorded a 72.3% ground ball rate which led all relievers. He also recorded a 25% double play rate, which led all MLB relievers as well.
