Before Fame
She had waist-length hair when she went into the audition for Waterloo Road. During the audition they told her she would have to cut it to play Kacey but she wanted the part so much that she did. She confessed that she cried a lot about it and thought she looked horrible.
Trivia
She saw playing Kacey Barry as a dream role, as the girl had a lot of trouble coming to terms with the fact that she was transgender and felt that she was actually male. The only people who supported her on the show was her sister.
