English Hollywood executive who helped create the iconic series Murder, She Wrote and The Wild Wild West during a 30-year career.

Before Fame

He had his first taste of the entertainment industry with an uncredited role in The Story of Three Loves in 1953.


He was also known for the series The New Adventures of Wonder Woman and Mission: Impossible, the latter of which spawned a popular film franchise.

He grew up with two siblings, his twin brother Edgar and his younger sister Angela.
