Rapper who is notable for being one of the first rappers ever jailed due to the inflammatory lyrical content of his music. He was arrested in 1998 after his anti-police song "Deadly Game" was found to violate the conditions of his parole.
He grew up in Sacramento, California, where he was a member of the Crips gang.
Following his arrest for "Deadly Game," he was given parole on the condition that he rap in a Public Service Announcement.
His real name is Shawn Thomas. He has a son.
