Irish stand-up comedian, writer, and actor known for her comedy shows Immaculate, Lemon, and Again, With Feelings and for appearing on UK television on shows like Live at the Apollo, QI, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Mock the Week, and The Mash Report. She is also known as a comedy writer and has contributed to BBC programs such as The Now Show, The News Quiz, and Frankie Boyle's New World Order.
Before fame
She studied French and history at Trinity College Dublin after initially beginning a law degree at University College Dublin before switching fields. She trained professionally at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. She began working in stand-up comedy in 2014. She gained early industry attention in 2016 after becoming a finalist in both the BBC New Comedy Award and Funny Women. She experienced her major breakthrough in 2018 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with her show Immaculate.
