Cho Gue-sung

About

Professional striker for Danish Superliga club Midtjylland who formerly played as striker and center forward for South Korean K1 League club Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. He has also played for Gimcheon Sangmu FC and FC Anyang during his professional career. He played for the South Korean national team during the 2022 World Cup.

Before Fame

As a teenager, he played for Anyang Technical High School. After graduating, he attended Gwangju University where he continued to play soccer in college.

Trivia

He was named Most Valuable Player of the 2022 Korean FA Cup after leading the league in scoring. His team also won the 2022 Korean FA Cup after defeating FC Seoul 3-1.

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his family in Ansan, South Korea. His father is Cho Chae Hwan.

He played alongside Son Heung-min as a member of the South Korean men's national team during the 2022 World Cup.
