Podcaster who hosted the influential hip-hop interview and discussion show The Combat Jack Show. He was also the managing editor of The Source magazine and an attorney who represented various hip-hop stars, including Jay Z and DJ Clark Kent.
He graduated from Cornell University, where he was a member of the Kappa Xi chapter of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity.
He wrote Bling: The Hip-Hop Jewelry Book (2006), which chronicled hip-hop culture's relationship with jewelry.
His birth name was Reggie Joseph Ossé. He is survived by four children and his wife, Akim.
