Before Fame

He first began his college football career at the University of San Diego. After two seasons, he transferred to the University of Utah. As a freshman in 2018, he recorded 374 yards and 11 touchdowns on 24 catches. 

Trivia

He finished his collegiate football career as the NCAA leader in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns by a tight end. As a senior, he led all tight ends in receiving yards and receiving yards per game.
