David Castain

Entrepreneur who served as the director of social marketing for Grey Goose. He's the founder of the nonprofit organization, the David Castain Foundation, and marketing firm David Castain & Associates, which boasts clients like Chipotle, Uber, and Cort Furniture. In 2013, he was featured in a television special entitled, "Most Successful Black Entrepreneurs in Washington, DC."

Before Fame

Throughout his youth, he was involved in gang activity and was expelled from multiple high schools before graduating from Alta Loma High School. After being charged with armed robbery, he was sentenced to 2 years in prison followed by 8 months house arrest, during which time he attended Howard University. In 2013, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in speech and applied communication, with a minor in sociology. 

Trivia

When he graduated from Georgetown University with a master's degree in public relations and corporate communications, he earned the Golden Bulldog Award for Most Creative Student in his program. He was also named on Forbes' Next 1000 List in 2021.

Family Life

He's the son of Debra Ross and David Castain, Sr.
