Actor known most prominently for his role as Harlan Rook in the 1988 fifth installment of the Dirty Harry franchise, a film called The Dead Pool. He's also a familiar face on the silver screen and television as he frequently guest stars, produces, and directs different projects alongside his wife, an actress known for the hit sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. He had a small role on the show as one of Raymond's neighbors.
Before Fame
He graduated from Loughborough University in his home country. He would then travel to America to work as a teacher and an American Football coach. He eventually found himself in New York where he attended Juilliard. The production company he runs with his wife is called FourBoys Entertainment. He currently divides his time between LA and Cambridge.
Trivia
While working alongside his wife, Patricia, on her television show Carol's Second Act as part of the writers' room, a colleague accused him of inappropriate contact. He denies the claim, but in the aftermath of the accusation both the writer who accused him and another writer from the show subsequently left and he was mandated to complete sexual harassment sensitivity training.

He is married to the successful and outspoken actress Patricia Heaton, and together they have four sons.
