David Nihill

Irish comedian, producer, and entrepreneur who also authored the best-selling 2015 book, Do You Talk Funny? 7 Comedy Habits to Become a Better (and Funnier) Public Speaker. He has become widely recognized for his original comedy specials, including "Documented" and "Cultural Appreciation." He has also been featured on programs such as Just for Laughs and the Netflix is a Joke Festival.

Before Fame

In 2003, he earned a master's degree in business before moving to San Francisco, CA, where he earned employment with the Irish government helping to expand startups. After falling in love with travel, he went on to reside in a dozen different countries, in addition to having visited more than 70.

Trivia

He was declared the winner of the annual San Francisco Comedy Competition, which has previously featured finalists such as Robin Williams and Ellen DeGeneres. He was also the runner-up of the Moth's U.S. Grandslam storytelling competition.

In March 2024, he shared a video of himself performing a standup comedy routine about his mother on his davidnihill Instagram account.
