Outfielder who was drafted #37 overall by the Houston Astros in the 2015 MLB Draft. He officially signed with the team in June 2015 with a 4 million dollar signing bonus.
He had initially committed to play for the Florida State Seminoles before being selected in the 2015 MLB Draft. He was chosen as Gatorade's Player of the Year for Georgia as a senior in 2015.
He competed as a member of USA Baseball's U-18 team in 2014. He has played for the Class A Quad City River Bandits in 2016.
He is the son of former MLB player Mike Cameron.
He joined Dansby Swanson, the number one overall selection, in being an early draftee in the 2015 MLB Draft.
