He began his DJ career around 2012 by working local club nights, events, and radio spots in Nairobi. He built his profile through consistent mixtape releases, social media sharing and weekly shows. He became more popular during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns in 2020 when he started his The Wake Up Call series.
