Dolly Alderton

About

Author, journalist, and podcast host who most notably penned the Sunday Times best-selling memoir, Everything I Know About Love, which would eventually have a hit TV adaptation on the BBC and Peacock streaming service. Her other novels include Ghosts, which was released in 2020, and Dear Dolly in 2022. 

Before Fame

She graduated from City University with a master's degree in journalism and from the University of Exeter with a degree in Drama and English. She began her career as a journalist, writing for The Sunday Times as a dating and advice columnist.

Trivia

She made Variety Magazine's list of 10 Brits to Watch for 2023 as well as Forbes 30 Under 30 List in 2018. Her dollyalderton Instagram account, with over 410,000 followers, features photos of her adventures with friends, food, and the many highlights of her successful career.

Family Life

One of her parents was British and the other was Canadian.

In 2019, she created and hosted Love Stories, a podcast mini-series in which she spent each episode speaking with a different guest about their most formative and significant relationships. Celebrity guests included Stanley Tucci, Lily Allen, Sharon Horgan, and Vanessa Kirby.
