Canadian Indigenous advocate, public speaker, writer, and social media personality known for her work raising awareness about Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and LGBT+ people on her Instagram and TikTok accounts. She is especially known for sharing her personal story as a survivor of family violence and for becoming a prominent voice speaking about systemic failures, intergenerational trauma, and Indigenous resilience through social media, podcasts, and public advocacy.

Before fame

She survived a hostage situation when she was 9 years old that ended with the murder of her parents. She and her siblings were displaced from their home community after the tragedy and moved to Ontario where she experienced cultural separation and a lack of trauma-informed support. Her early experiences became the foundation for her advocacy work as an adult. She began sharing content on Instagram in the mid-2010s. She testified at the National Inquiry for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls in 2017. She joined the National Family Advisory Circle in 2019. She helped present the Inquiry's 231 Calls for Justice in June 2019.

She was born and raised in St. Eustache, Manitoba, Canada in a Métis family deeply connected to their community. Her father was involved in Métis leadership. She married a man named Lucas and is the mother of three children named Carmine, Ever, and Vedder.
