Professional Italian surfer who is known for competing in the World Surf League. He is known for having earned sponsorship from Country Builders Hawaii, Dakine, and GoPro. He also shares photos and short clips of him surfing through Instagram for his over 60,000 followers.
With a focus on football early on, at thirteen the Hawaiian Quicksilver team came to Sardegna and inspired him to pursue a career in surfing. Beginning with windsurfing and earning sponsorship early on, he went on to pursue big wave surfing. In 2010, he earned his first nomination for the XXL Biggest Wave Award which helped launch his professional career.
In 2017, he won the World Surf League's Biggest Wave Award. That same year he was also nominated for Performance of the Year and Ride of the Year, the first for an Italian Athlete.
He was born in New York City, but raised in Sardegna, Italy. At the age of fourteen, he then moved to Maui with his family.
