Known for her roles on such Philippine television series as Palibhasa Lalake and Aryana, she also hosted several TV specials and appeared in such Star Cinema, VIVA, and Regal movies as, respectively, Must Be. . . Love, Trophy Wife, and White House.
After training at New York's famous Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, she earned an undergraduate degree in communications from the University of California, Los Angeles.
She hosted the 1994 Miss Universe Pageant for the ABS-CBN network.
Born Giselle Anne Toengi, she was raised in the United States and the Philippines by a Filipina mother and a Swiss father. Her marriage to Tim Walters resulted in a daughter named Sakura Anne Marie and a son named Kenobi Benjamin.
During the 1990s, she and Claudine Barretto played the roles of KC and Tracey Kuting on the ABS-CBN sitcom Palibhasa Lalake.
