Czechoslovakian-born Holocaust survivor who was imprisoned at both Auschwitz and Theresienstadt. After his liberation, he settled in Canada.
During his time at the Theresienstadt camp, he trained as a plumber. His plumbing expertise ultimately saved his life when he was later imprisoned at Auschwitz.
His sister, Hana Brady (born Hanicka Bradova), was the subject of a nonfiction book entitled Hana's Suitcase and a film called Inside Hana's Suitcase.
His parents and his sister Hana died in concentration camps. He had two children: Lara and Doug.
He and Elly Gross both survived the Holocaust.
