Angolan singer-songwriter, producer, and sometime actor who is at the forefront of Angola's New School music movement. He has 850,000 followers on TikTok and 2.4 million on Instagram. Critics often describe his music as "ghetto zouk," and its uptempo partylike beats come from Angolan genres kuduro and kizomba.

Insrael studied graphic design in college. He sings in Portuguese, English, and various Angolan languages.

Family Life

His parents, João Alfinete and Florinda Francisco Alfinete, raised him in the province of Kwanza-Sul. His real name is Jerónimo Insrael Alfinete. He was born in Gabela, Angola.
