He moved to Nashville to pursue songwriting professionally at the age of 18.

He earned his first No. 1 with Jordan Davis' smash hit "Next Thing You Know." At the age of 17, Guitar Center's Brotherhood of the Guitar, ranked him as one of the best guitarists in the world under 21 in their Guitar Top 100.

Family Life

His grandfather gifted him his first guitar at the age of five. He released the song "Young Man" that was dedicated to his late grandfather.
