American actor and voice artist best known for lending his voice to the roles of Morty Smith and Evil Morty on the Adult Swim animated television series Rick and Morty, beginning in Season 7. He has also appeared on television shows such as Proven Innocent, Chicago Med, and Joe Pera Talks with You, as well as in the holiday film Christmas...Again!?.

Before fame

His passion for performing ignited at a young age. Throughout his childhood, he often dressed as superheroes. He went on to obtain his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting in 2017 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign before launching his professional career with theater, commercial, and voice work.

Trivia

His portrayal of Morty in Rick and Morty marked his first major recurring role following a lengthy audition process held by the Adult Swim series in search of new vocal talent. Outside of his voice and screen acting work, he has also appeared in numerous stage productions including the Chicago Shakespeare Theater/US Tour of The King's Speech in 2019 and several shows with the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
