Politician who rose to fame for his time as the Chief of the Cabinet for the Turkish President. He served as the Chief of the Cabinet for the Prime Minister between 2008-2014 before switching to serve the President.
He graduated from from Ankara University with his degree in theology. He later gained his doctoral degree from Ankara University in 2008.
He served in the Turkish military between 2006-2007. He also worked as the Ankara Provincial Youth Commission's vice president of media.
He and his wife Rümeysa Doğan share two children.
He was appointed as the Director of Private Office for Recep Tayyip Erdogan in September 2014.
