She graduated from the University College London with a dual degree in English and psychoanalysis. She began ghostwriting for various male pick-up artists, which led to a burgeoning interest in the psychology behind dating.

She has been a regular columnist for Cosmopolitan. She has also maintained her own eponymous YouTube channel, where she is known to post social experiments and How To videos. One of her most popular videos, "Blondes Vs. Brunette (Social Experiment)," has amassed more than 3 million total views since its April 3, 2015 posting.
