Hin Channiroth

About

Television show presenter and actress widely recognized for hosting the Bayon Television program Cha Cha Cha, which she has done since 2010. She starred as the main character Tep Leak in the 2018 horror film The Witch, which was later awarded the title of Cambodia's Best Movie of the Year. She boasts a substantial fanbase and has over 1.3 million followers on her Hinchanniroth8 Facebook account, as well as 1 million followers on her hin_channiroth Instagram account. 

Before Fame

She rose to fame after being crowned the winner of the 8th season of Freshie Girls & Boys, a popular annual competition in Cambodia held to encourage young Cambodians to perfect their talents and learn to become successful leaders. Prior to the televised contest, participants are rigorously taught about topics such as morality, Cambodian history and culture, work experience, and life skills while living together for three months.

Trivia

She earned the ASEAN Television Charm Award in the year 2011 before winning the Anachak Dara: Most Popular Female MC Award the following year.

Family Life

She is married to fellow Khmer star Eang Vichai.
