Spanish professional soccer player known for playing as a striker who has played for Getafe (youth), Getafe B, Getafe's first team, Real Madrid Castilla (Real Madrid B) on loan, Real Madrid on loan, and Valencia in LaLiga.

Before fame

He joined Getafe CF's academy in 2004 when he was around 5 years old. He developed through Getafe's youth ranks for over a decade before earning his first senior opportunities. He made his professional debut in October 2017 as a substitute in a Copa del Rey match against Deportivo Alavés. He began appearing for Getafe B shortly after and played for Getafe B from 2017-2019. He made his LaLiga debut in March 2018 in a league match against Real Sociedad. He joined Real Madrid Castilla on loan in 2020. He earned the chance to appear for Real Madrid's first team on loan in 2021. He moved to Valencia on loan in 2021. He became a permanent Valencia player when the club activated his buy option in May 2022 and signing him through June 2026.

Trivia

He represented Spain U21 in 2020 and scoring one goal in his one cap for the youth national team. He is primarily a central striker but has also played in wide attacking roles and as a second striker when needed. He is a dog owner and enjoys traveling.

Family life

His full name is Hugo Duro Perales, and he was born and raised in Getafe, Spain. He married Spanish racing driver Nerea Martí in 2024.
