In the year 2016, he began presenting on television which furthered his reach and influence. He has been described as being Brazil's number one authority on pop culture. He is also known for having over 20 million followers on Instagram alone.

He became known in 2010 on Twitter when he created a fake profile of comedian Christian Pior. As a result, he garnered notoriety on social media. He then began branching out after he created the name and persona Hugo Gloss. He created his own website focusing on pop culture in the year 2013, which became very popular and led him to becoming a presenter and social media icon.

He has a degree in journalism and a master's degree in public relations. He enjoys going to the theater in his spare time.
