Brazilian professional surfer known for competing in the World Surfing League. He has earned sponsorship from several companies including Sharp Eye Surfboards, Hang Loose, and Teccel Surfblanks and shares both pictures and videos of his surfing to Instagram for his over 90,000 followers.
He first earned recognition in 2011 when he won the Hurley Pro Junior event at Sao Francisco do Sul in Brazil. He joined the World Surfing League Men's World Tour in 2017 and competed in his first professional qualifying series in November that same year at the Sao Sebastiao Pro.
He won the World Surf League Qualifiers competition in 2016 at the Azores Airlines Pro at Sao Miguel in Portugal.
He was born and raised in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil. His father Fabio Gouveia was also a professional surfer known for winning the World Amateur Championship in 1988.
