Spanish politician who is best recognized for her work as the spokesperson for the Parliamentary Group Unidos Podemos-En Comu Podem-Galicia en Comun in Congress. She is also a psychologist and member of the Podemos party.
Her first entrance in politics was when she joined the Communist Youth at age 16. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Autonomous University of Madrid. She joined the Podemos party after the elections to the European Parliament in 2014.
In June of 2017, she became the first woman in the history of Spain to intervene in parliament on a motion of no confidence.
She has two twins named Leo and Manuel as well as a daughter.
She is known for having led the cabinet of Pablo Iglesias Turrión and the Citizen Council of Podemos in November of 2014.
